Cornerstones mission is to assess, promote, and provide education and employment training services to the area workforce and employers.
Our History
Cornerstones Career Learning Center, Inc. was formed in 1986 under the auspices of the Greater Huron Development Corporation to serve a diversifying area workforce and was incorporated as a private non-profit in 1994. The program was funded by the South Dakota Department of Labor through the South Dakota Workforce Development Council. Cornerstones is governed by a Board of Directors and has long-standing partnerships with several organizations.

In Fiscal Year 2018, Cornerstones served:
600 people in basic ed and English classes
over 1000 people in skill and work-based training
