Our History

Cornerstones Career Learning Center, Inc. was formed in 1986 under the auspices of the Greater Huron Development Corporation to serve a diversifying area workforce and was incorporated as a private non-profit in 1994. The South Dakota Department of Labor funded the program through the South Dakota Workforce Development Council.

A Board of Directors governs Cornerstones and has long-standing partnerships with several organizations.
